The trial challenge in Sun and Moon was perhaps its defining characteristic, as it meant that Pokemon was finally moving away from its traditional structure of eight gyms followed by the Elite 4. Trials will, as such, obviously still be present in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon– what’s interesting is that there will be more of them. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will feature an all new Trial Challenge, in which players will face off against island captain Mina.
