Kalypso Media, the publisher has announced that the Port Royale series will get a new game, which is scheduled to be released early next year. This RTS series is very popular on the PC, with Port Royale 2 being released in 2002. So, it has been a drought of almost 9 years till this new game came out.
You can play either as a ship’s captain, villainous brigand or merchant seaman in the game. Yes, you can loot anything you want to prosper. There is also a multiplayer mode in the game along with a comprehensive single player campaign.
The game will be out in Q2 2012.
