Prepare to Die in This New Dark Souls II Trailer

Three minutes of hardcore gaming bliss.

Dark Souls II, the unexpected sequel to From Software’s equally unexpected breakout hit Dark Souls, hits the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this March, and Namco Bandai is drumming up the hype ahead of the ever approaching release.

The newest trailer that you see above is a sort of story trailer for the game, but it also gives us three minutes of previously unseen Dark Souls II footage goodness; admittedly, the game looks a little dated next to the shiny high budget PS3 and Xbox 360 RPGs (not to mention RPGs announced for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), but it was never about style with this series, it was about the substance, and Dark Souls II looks every bit as awesome as the original game, at least judging by the trailer.

Dark Souls II is due out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in March (the PC version will be staggered by a little bit). Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
