Batman: Arkham Knight is here. After an excruciatingly long wait, the superhit saga that began with 2009’s unexpected hit Batman: Arkham Asylum, and then reached a zenith with the world conquering Batman: Arkham City in 2011 is finally going to see its proper conclusion with Batman: Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight will go beyond the original two games in every possible way, narratively dealing with the kind of heft that the original games only hinted at, and mechanically finally realizing the series; vision of a full fledged open world.

If you are excited for what promises to be one of this year’s biggest releases – and you should be – then here’s a trailer to tide you over those last few hours. Batman: Arkham Knight is almost here. Make that wait more bearable with this launch trailer, that should get you pretty pumped up for Rocksteady’s epic conclusion to their trilogy.

Batman: Arkham Knight launches on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stay tuned for more coverage.
