Primal Carnage: Extinction finally has a release date for the PlayStation 4- Panic Button announced today that the game will be launching on Sony’s console on October 20. The game, which is a class based squad based multiplayer shooter in a prehistoric skin, will let players face off against one another as gigantic prehistoric monsters locked in a struggle to the death with each other.
Primal Carnage: Extinction features support for up to 16 players in player-hosted online and offline (single-screen LAN) modes. It also has a Remote Play optimized control scheme, for whenever you want to play the game on your PlayStation Vita.
It looks pretty darn awesome to me, but if you aren’t convinced, you can just check out the trailer for the game for yourself below. It does a pretty good job of selling you on the prospect of a man versus dino shooter- which really is a subject on which you should need no convincing, let’s be honest.
