Project CARS ‘May’ Be Coming To The PS4 And The Next Xbox

It all depends on the community.

London’s Slightly Mad Studios has revealed that Project CARS may be coming to next generation consoles should the community decide to fund it.

Project CARS is a visually stunning racer from the Slightly Mad Studios, the developers behind the Need for Speed Shift games.

Given how it looks amazing, many fans would love to see it on next generation consoles. Creative Director, Andy Tudor believes that it all depends on the community and if they see fit, they will fund it.

“So we’re looking at release for next-gen consoles after the current-gen and it would require additional money but we have strong hope that the community sees the potential and decides to fund it,” he said in an interview with Teamvvv.

So there you have it. If you want a next generation console version of the game, you: the community have to fund the game.

Project CARS will release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U sometime in 2014.  For our continued coverage of Project CARS check out it’s hub page over here.
