Project Cars Release Date Teased, Gets A Cinematic Trailer

Game coming in 2014.

While Sony and Microsoft fanboys fight and obsess over the upcoming Gran Turismo 6, Forza 5, and Drive Club, PC players have been waiting eagerly for the release of Project Cars, the excellent looking racing sim that has been announced since 2011, and, two years later, still doesn’t have a release date.

Or well, it didn’t, until the above new teaser.

The trailer teases a 2014 release date, which is a whole nother year, but hey, as long as the game continues to progress as well as this one has been, who will complain? As long as the game doesn’t pull a Gran Turismo 5 of course, which was another hyped racing sim with a similarly protracted development cycle, that ended up disappointing most people in the end. However, with a development process as transparent as the one Project Cars has been getting, I really don’t think that should be an issue.
