Last month (which was when we got Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank via PS Plus) not withstanding, generally speaking, it has been a self evident truth that the PS Plus lineup for Asian markets will be far better than the PS Plus lineup for North America and Europe. And has it has been, so it shall be—and so it is this month as well.
This month’s PS Plus lineup includes Heavy Rain, David Cage and Quantic Dream’s first title produced in collaboration with Sony (and arguably Cage’s best game yet), as well as BlazBlue Central Fiction. I argue that this is a better offering than what we got, where Mad Max was the biggest highlight (and listen, I enjoy Mad Max for what it is, but when it’s your highlight, you’ve got a pretty average showing there)—meanwhile, in Asia, they get Mad Max in addition to the stuff I talked about above.
