Sony have routinely disappointed with their offerings of free games for PS Plus- which was one of the reasons that their casual price increase for PS Plus earlier this year was received with so much outrage. However, it seems as though the tides may be turning on the free games offerings front for PS Plus- whether or not this has something to do with the price rise is of course not yet known.

Sony have announced their free games for PS Plus subscribers this month, and you know what? They’re pretty good. PS4 owners make out the best from this month’s offerings, with Resident Evil, the HD remaster of the remake of the first Resident Evil game, being made available, alongside Platinum’s Transformers Devastation. PS3 users on the other hand get Mad Riders and From Dust, while Vita owners get Code Realize and Actual Sunlight.

While Vita and PS3 owners may find cause to complain with their offerings for this month, PS4 owners can at last enjoy what appears to be a great PS Plus month, with no strings or qualifiers attached. It’s been a long time coming.
