PS4 Exclusive Deep Down Has Not Received Any Updates For The Last Two Years

Deep down no one knows anything where this game is in development.

Remember February of 2013 when Capcom officially unveiled the PS4 exclusive Deep Down? Honestly, no one would blame you if this game completely slipped your mind, considering that there are some who are likely wondering if Capcom remembers it is supposed to be working on the game.

December of 2014 was the last time we heard about an official update regarding the game but since then the company has had very little to say about the development of this title and when we might expect to see it. While most people would likely assume the reason we haven’t heard anything about Deep Down is because the game is officially dead, Capcom isn’t quite allowing the title to completely fade away.

Back in August, we reported that Capcom officially requested a trademark extension for Deep Down. Perhaps this means the firm is finally moving towards finishing the project or it could mean nothing. Perhaps the firm just doesn’t want anyone else to make it. At this point, we’re just going to have to sit and wait, but not get our hopes up, because Capcom still isn’t talking.
