Quantic Dream Teases We’ll Hear Soon About “Exciting New Projects”

The company seems possibly close to unveiling something.

Quantic Dream

The last year has seen big changes for Quantic Dream. The studio worked with Sony exclusively for almost a decade, but has now broken off with intents to self-publish their own titles going forward. While they have talked a good deal about those plans, we’ve yet to see anything concrete from it. While that hasn’t changed today, it does seem as if the studio might be gearing up for their next phase relatively soon.

In a livestream from their new Twitch channel, Guillaume de Fondaumière and David Cage both talked about the company’s future. While they didn’t officially reveal anything, they did say they were working on “many exciting new projects.” While they didn’t get into specifics, Cage did say they would show something “soon.”

There’s obviously not much there, but Cage said last year the company was experimenting with shorter games, so it could be they are looking into something episodic. It is, of course, hard to say until something more concrete comes. The company has been known for their interactive actions games, the latest three of which are soon to hit Steam. Whether they’ll follow in those footsteps or try something a little off the beaten path is anyone’s guess. We’ll just have to wait and see.
