Race Driver: Grid and Operation Flashpoint sequels in development

Jame MacDonald, Codemaster’s SVP of production has revealed that sequels of Race Driver: Grid and Operation Flashpoint are in development. He said, “We’ve got a major launch with F1 coming up in September and developed at our Birmingham studio,” said MacDonald, “and we hope to draw new IP from there. Our Guildford studio is working hard on Bodycount, and we will be looking.”

“In Southam it’s full steam ahead with the next iteration in our Flashpoint series, as well as the next Dirt and Grid. It’ll be interesting to see how it all pans out.”

I think a sequel to GRID was written on the cards after the phenomenal success of the original, but Operation Flashpoint? Hmm, I guess we have wait and see how that one goes. Stay tuned with GamingBolt for more news and updates.
