Rainbow Six Siege To Run at 1728p on Xbox One X and 1440p on PS4 Pro With Upcoming Update

Enhanced Rainbow Six: Siege, at last!

Ubisoft has confirmed that its popular multiplayer shooter Rainbow Six: Siege will be getting PS4 Pro and Xbox One X enhancements (at last!) with the upcoming Operation Para Bellum update. Ubisoft has confirmed (translated by WCCFTech) that the game’s enhancements with the upcoming update will include a resolution of 1728p on Xbox One X and 1440p on PS4 Pro.

The resolution will be scaled dynamically, in an attempt to keep the framerate at a consistent 60 frames per second at all times- so you may see it drop below that even on the higher specced consoles. Given how important framerate is to the game, though, I am sure most of its players will concede it is an acceptable compromise.

Operation Para Bellum will be available for the game in June (it is available on test servers today). Rainbow Six: Siege is out now and available at Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
