Rayman Legends

Official Nintendo Magazine’s exclusive interview revealed how Montpellier studio reacted when Ubisoft decided to delay Rayman Legends so they can release it at the same time on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Even though the developers were disappointed by the delay they have confirmed that new content will be included.

“Trust me, the things we are adding aren’t minor,” Ancel stated. “We’re not talking about adding some polish here and there, but 30 new levels and several new bosses.”

Originally, Rayman Legends was going to come out in February 2013. However, the game was delayed 7 months so that Ubisoft could release the game on all platforms at the same time.

Rayman Legends will now be coming out in September on Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

At the same time, the online challenge mode will be coming out for the Wii U owners later this months. This piece of exclusive content will include four levels, including exclusive Wii U level Murfy’s Dungeon, regular challenges and leaderboard updates.

Stay tuned on GamingBolt for Rayman Legends review when it hits the store shelves this September.
