After a couple of days of teasing, Rockstar have finally gone ahead and announced Red Dead Redemption 2, the sequel to one of the greatest games of last generation. On the occasion of this announcement, Rockstar Games’ boss Sam Houser has issued a statement about the game’s vision and how they plan to represent a truly living world.

“With  Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games in a press release.  “We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we’ve learned making games.”

Giving the scale and vision of Grand Theft Auto 5, we are pretty excited to see where Rockstar takes Red Dead next. Red Dead Redemption 2 will  be launching for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in late 2017. There are no PC and Nintendo NX versions planned. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more news and updates on Red Dead Redemption 2.
