Red Dead Redemption Double XP Event Is Live Now and Will Be All Weekend

Posted By | On 13th, Aug. 2010

With the latest DLC that was released for Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar games figured now is as good a time as ever to have a double XP event considering one of the new Legends and Killers DLC achievement/trophies requires you to go Legendary mode which is like a Prestige type thing where all weapons and mounts are lost as you start as level 1 again with not much to gain other than new titles, characters, a symbol next to your name and a new mount each time your go Legendary. You can only hit Legendary mode once you reach level 50 and can only be done 6 times with the last netting you coveted Zebra Donkey mount.

The Double XP event started at 1PM EST today and will end on Sunday, August 15 at Midnight EST.  Better get on that horse, or bull …or donkey are start leveling because if you can’t level 50 once, you sure as hell aren’t going to be able to do it five times as much more DLC is on the way for Red Dead Redemption listed below with no official date yet:
