RedDead 3

Rockstar’s highly critically acclaimed western epic, Red Dead Redemption, has now sold 14 million units worldwide. This news comes to us from the same SEC filing that gave us the update on worldwide sales for the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Red Dead Redemption was highly critically acclaimed when it launched on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010, earning top scores across the board, and winning multiple game of the year awards. The game, which was an American western riff on the popular GTA formula, became beloved by all who played it, and is constantly one of the most requested game for remasters and backwards compatibility whitelists.

A sequel to Red Dead Redemption has often been discussed, although nothing concrete has come of any of it yet. Knowing Rockstar, they will be working on it in the background, and announce it on their own time.
