34BigThings announced back in September that Redout: Lightspeed Edition would receive an Xbox One X and PS4 Pro enhancement patch, and at least the Xbox One X version has finally arrived.

Just revealed through press release that the update is available now, the title patch also features quite a lot of retouches, boasting over 300 fixes since the last update, performance improvements and a few new secrets.

Though the game targets that glorious, native 4K without any checkerboard rendering techniques, they do still use dynamic resolution to maintain that buttery smooth frame rate at all times. The update previously announced for PS4 will be much the same, but used checkerboard rendering to keep up. With an impressive 81 on Metacritic, will you be revving your engines back up to check out the new 4K Redout? Let us know in the comments.
