Remnant 2

Gunfire Games’ Remnant 2 has done well since launching earlier this week, ranking second in Steam’s Top Seller charts. However, it’s had its share of technical issues and bugs. Developer director Ben Gabbard confirmed in an official post that fixes are coming.

“We are humbled and grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Your support and enthusiasm for Remnant 2 have been truly inspiring. We are aware that a small portion of players have encountered some bugs, ranging in various levels of severity.

“We know that encountering bugs and glitches can be frustrating and can hinder your excitement for the game. We take these issues incredibly seriously, and our team is working to identify and address these issues as quickly as possible.”

Several issues, like the Waterharp Puzzle and progression blockers in the Labyrinth and other areas, have been addressed. The team is working on delivering more fixes, like improving performance, removing other progression blockers, fixing missing items, and more. Those facing issues with Traits or crashes on higher-end configurations can also look forward to fixes.

Remnant 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It expands on the original in every way, whether it’s the higher visual fidelity or reimagining Classes as Archetypes for more build variety. Such is the extent of the content that the developer claims no one has “seen or obtained 100 percent” in the game. Check out our official review for more details.
