Gunfire Games’ Remnant: From the Ashes is on the way, and we’ve getting teases of the various settings the game will hop to. From irradiated and decayed worlds to lush ones brimming with life (though not the kind you’re going to like). Today we get something a little different, as we see the mysterious Ward 13.
Publisher Perfect World released the trailer that you can see below. From the description it sounds like Ward 13 is maybe inspired by old school Area 51 tales. It’s a place surrounded by many rumors as to its reason for existing, but apparently with a truth far worse than any of them. The trailer features a tour of the facility with small teases of things to come, though never quite showing anything, to give an unsettling vibe.
What is the secret to Ward 13? Well, we’ll just have to wait and find out when the game releases August 20th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
