Renault Joins Project CARS

French car manufacturer joins ambitious racing sim.

Renault, the French car manufacturer, has joined the every growing list of car companies represented in Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS, the ambitious racing sim that hits next year.

Renault’s inclusion in Project CARS means multiple cars from their lineup available, across varying categories and skill levels: from the the 265hp 2014 Mégane RS road car to the V6 Turbo-powered Alpine A442B. Different cars will be offered in different categories in competitions, all of which Project Cars authentically represents.

The full list of Renault products in Project CARS is:

  • 2014 Mégane RS
  • 2013 Clio IV RS Cup
  • 2013 Alpine A450
  • 1999 Laguna BTCC
  • 2009 Mégane Trophy II
  • 1978 Alpine A442B

If you want to play Project CARS, especially in light of the disappointment that Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6 have largely caused, you don’t have to wait too long: it is hitting Wii U, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and SteamOS in Fall 2014. Stay tuned for more.
