Report: Crytek cancelled TPS, now working on a new FPS IP

Superannuation has spotted a LinkedIn profile of Gameplay/Animation Programmer for Crytek, David Ramos, which says that Crytek was working on a new Third Person Shooter franchise called Redemption (according to his Resume) for the PS3, 360 and PC, but it was cancelled.

His work experience section says:

“New IP, third person shooter genre, cancelled title for Xbox360,PS3 and PC (half a year)
– Responsible of maintaining most of the animation-related functionality”

However, Crytek also seems to be working on a new FPS franchise, again, for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC. According to his work experience section, he was working on a “New IP, shooter genre, TBA title for Xbox360, PS3 and PC (1 year)”.
