It Lost Its Focus

Resident Evil 6 is stuffed to the gills with content. Normally that’d be a good thing, but the problem in RE6’s case is that there’s no unifying theme or focus. There are four different campaigns that let you play as one of two characters, each with different gameplay mechanics and themes, and each campaign eventually ties together in the most convoluted ways possible. Then there is of course the co-op mode tacked on, and it feels like the game is trying to do way too many things at once without bothering to make sure if it all makes sense or not.
