Resogun trailer is colorful, frenetic, psychedelic

Here, have some LSD.

From the creators of the Super Stardust series comes their next, often teased, PlayStation 4 project- Resogun.

Don’t let the name, which probably evokes images of rose petals floating on serene water, fool you. It’s not serene, and it has nothing at all to do with flowers, though it is pretty colorful. It’s also nausea inducing in how fast, frantic, frenetic, and borderline psychedelic it is. In other words, it looks kind of really awesome.

It’s a third person sidescrolling 3D shooter, and it involves you commandeering a small ship in increasingly outlandish levels, at least, visually (or so it seems).

After the PlayStation Stardust games, which were rather fun and make for a nice, arcade sized distraction, this should be a nice addition to the PlayStation 4 library, especially when coupled with the already robust lineup that the system is confirmed to be getting by December end this year.
