Rocket League Unplayable for Sky Broadband Customers, Apparently

At least on PS4.

Rocket League

If you want to play the PS4 version of the car soccer game Rocket League, and you have a Sky Broadband connection, well then, you might find that you can’t- Eurogamer reports that loads of Sky Broadband customers in the UK are reporting that Rocket League is unplayable for them. The problem is apparently large enough for the Rocket League Twitter account to have made a statement on it, as well as the Sky Help Team itself.

As of right now, a temporary workaround that some players on Reddit seem to have noticed is changing the PS4’s DNS server settings, which apparently bypasses the problem. The ‘solution’ has been highlighted by the game’s developers on the Rocket League Twitter account, though they naturally note that they can’t officially endorse this.

Whatever the problem is, let’s hope it gets fixed soon. I’d be having withdrawal symptoms by now if I was one of the people affected.
