RUMOUR ALERT: Modern Warfare 3 to be announced mid-April

Posted By | On 29th, Mar. 2011

Rumours about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 have been surfacing over the past few months, it’s about time Activision finally went ahead and announced it. Guess what? They still haven’t announced it. This is just another rumour, but hopefully, it’ll be true.

According to UK gaming magazine PSM3, we will have the first glimmer of MW3’s gameplay screens next month. The mag says “the next in Activision’s megaton FPS series will be announced in mid-April.” They have not given any release date yet, but the news is still pretty promising.

Recent rumours suggested that Ghost, the fan favourite from Modern Warfare 2, might be the protagonist in MW3, which will be a prequel game. “Based on the ending of MW2, we’d be surprised if the story doesn’t pick up with Soap and Price on the run, after they were set up by General Shepherd,’ says the mag.
