Rumour- DS 2 to ship with motion control

Posted By | On 17th, Feb. 2010

According to a rumor from CVG, the DS 2 is already in the hands of developers such as The Pokemon Company, who may be utilizing its possible motion control.

The motion controls are said to be similar in design to the Apple iPhone’s tilt design. This only helps to solidify what Satoru Iwata said last month when he hinted at motion controls for the next iteration of the handheld console.

Since then, he has in fact retracted his statements, but it has piqued our interest.

According to CVG, one of the developers in reciept of the DS 2 development kit has said it is, “The best thing I think I’ve ever worked with”.
