Saints Row: The Third Announced for Nintendo Switch

Wait, what? What year is it?

Saints Row The Third

In what has to be the single oddest announcement made at Gamescom 2018 so far, THQ Nordic has announced that Saints Row: The Third, the third entry in their extremely over the top open world action game franchise, is going to be coming to the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of Deep Silver Fishlabs. To which all I can say is- huh? What? Why?

Don’t get me wrong, Saints Row: The Third is the best entry in the series and all, but… why this one? Why not the fourth one? Why not both in a collection? Why only for Switch? Why not for PS4 and Xbox One too? When is it coming? How much will it be? I have so many questions. Presuming it is actually priced right, I could see it do well on the Switch in the absence of GTA on the system, but… what? Seriously, what an odd announcement (and made without any fanfare too).

I’m happy, but also very confused. I guess when we learn more about the Switch version, we will let you know.
