We reported yesterday that a demo of SNK’s Samurai Shodown, the latest entry in the legendary fighting series, would be dropping at the end of the month. Now we’re back to our character introductions, and we’ve got a flashy one today. One of the more modern characters of the franchise returns in style- Yoshitora Tokugawa.

You can check out the character trailer below. Yoshitora is one of the most stylish samurais of the cast of sword fighters, but it’s not just the hair and clothes that make the man, it’s also his fighting style. He uses multiple swords, each named after a different woman, barring one he chose to name for himself. He can use them in shift fashion, throwing off opponents with quick and flashy movements. He was originally introduced in Samurai Shodown V and has been a mainstay since.

Samurai Shodown will launch June 25th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with Switch and PC versions out in Q4 2019. You can keep up to date on all the news surrounding the game here.
