Samurai Shodown Switch Version’s Second Trailer Highlights Roster

This year’s Samurai Shodown ushered in a return to the legendary fighting series. PS4 and Xbox One players have been clashing swords for a few months now, but it’s getting to be time for those on the Switch to get their due. Today we got a new trailer for that version of the fighter.

Their have been several challenges to bringing the game to the Switch, but it seems overall it’s translated pretty well. The second trailer highlights the roster of classic and new characters you’ll be choosing from along with a few moments of in-game matches. None of the characters highlighted are the DLC characters, so it’s not clear if those will be included in the base game for this release or not.

Samurai Shodown is scheduled to hit the Switch December 12th in Japan, though as of now there’s no announced date for other regions. The PS4 and Xbox One international versions, which are available now, came out almost at the same time as their Japanese versions, so it’s likely the same will happen with the Switch.
