Demos are increasingly becoming an endangered species these days, which is a bit of a shame. It’s as neat of a way as any to let potential players get a taste for your game and make an informed decision on whether or not they actually want to purchase it. Of course, informed decisions are precisely what most publishers, with their carefully orchestrated pre-launch campaigns, are not looking for, so the death of the demo makes sense.
That philosophizing over the state of game demos aside, a brand new demo is out now on the PS4 and the Xbox One. It is for Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo, and it’s actually fairly full featured as demos go, including the following vehicles, tracks, and game modes:

- Fiat 500 Abarth
- Citroen DS3

- Rally
- Playground Time Attack/Challenge Time Attack
