Posted By | On 18th, Nov. 2011

Three Rings made Spiral Knight/Doctor who and now, they’re officially with Sega. The studio is based in San Francisco and specialize in MMOs. We do not know how much they spent on the acquisition but it shouldn’t be a lot.

The studio’s management was pleased with the buyout and the CEO Daniel James had this to say.

“Three Rings has always been a studio that prides itself on the depth and creativity of our games, we are very fortunate to have found a company like Sega that both respects our identity and shares our passion for developing engaging and quality games.

“We are honored to be joining such a legendary team and look forward to collaborating on amazing ideas together.”
