Sega Opens Mysterious Teaser Site

For all of humankind.

Sega

Sega has had a good upswing in the last financial quarter due to their rising game sales. That’s pretty obvious and in the open, but something not so obvious and in the open is a new website that’s all about the tease.

The website is live now, and you can check it out here. The website is nothing more than a dark background with a blipping in the background like a radar or heart-rate monitor or something of that nature. The website is named hmkd.Sega.com, and Sega trademarked the name Humankind not too long ago. You can sign up to be the “first to know,” whatever that means.

Humankind doesn’t match up with anything you expect from Sega, and the teaser doesn’t shine any light on anything. There’s a few theories, but as of now there’s nothing official. We know that Sega is releasing a major AAA title at this year’s Gamescom, so it’s possible it’s related to that. We’ll have to wait and see, though, since there’s no countdown or anything to datamine from the site as of now. We’ll keep you updated on whatever comes next.
