Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is almost upon us, and legions of FromSoftware fans are frothing at the mouth to get their hands on the studio’s shinobi action title. To hype us up for the game’s impending release even more, the developer has put out a launch trailer, giving us a glimpse of the trials and tribulations that await us in our journey through Sengoku era Japan.

The game’s more direct focus on active storytelling is something that FromSoftware have spoken of quite a bit, which makes sense, considering how different their games usually are from this style of a narrative, and this trailer does quite a bit to show us what that’s going to look like. There’s also a great deal of combat shown off, which is looking fast and frenetic as always, while we also get glimpses of bosses, the game’s new traversal mechanics, and of course, the resurrection mechanic. Take a look below.

If you’re looking for a trailer with even more of a focus on the game’s story, a narrative trailer was also recently released- take a look through hereSekiro Shadows Die Twice launches in less than two weeks, on March 22 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC- but don’t expect reviews to go live before the game launches.
