Shadow of the Tomb Raider Gets A Bleak Trailer at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference

With some very Dark Souls like imagery.

Shadow of the tomb raider leaked

Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics too the stage to show off the trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the third entry in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy that started out back in 2013. The trailer showed us the premise and setup for the game, showing a more mystical plot that could “change the course of mankind’s future”.

Apart from that there was some footage shown off of Lara jumping, shooting, and exploring tombs, as well as some super Dark Souls like imagery with a ring of fire that even plays pretty nicely into the game’s logo. On the whole, it seems like a pretty nice new adventure that fans of the long running franchise should hopefully end up enjoying.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 14, 2018. The game will be Xbox One X enhanced, and indeed, “run best on Xbox One”, as promised by Phil Spencer.
