It’s been thirteen years since the launch of Shadows of the Damned, but it still remains a widely beloved fan-favourite. Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, the action-adventure third-person shooter has amassed a dedicated fanbase in the years since its launch- and fans who’ve been desperate for some sort of comeback are finally getting their wish.
At the Devolver Direct pre-show (bizarrely enough), Grasshopper Manufacture recently announced Shadows of the Damned Remastered. The announce trailer showcases brief gameplay footage from the title, showing improved visuals and some of the gameplay that fans will be very familiar with. That said, there’s no word on when the game will launch, or what platforms it will be available for.
That said, the end of the trailer does confirm that a Grasshopper Direct is set for June 14 at 9 PM PST. Presumably, that is where we’ll be hearing more about Shadows of the Damned Remastered (presumably in addition to another big announcement that the developer has recently been teasing).
