Frogwares’ adaptation of the classic novel will be taking on a completely new form with a new hero at the forefront in Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments. Focus Home Interactive has received a new trailer for the game prior to E3 and you can check it out above.

Crimes and Punishments will span seven different cases dealing with murder, theft and other crimes. You’ll use the deductive power of Sherlock Holmes to discover criminals but it won’t be a cut-and-dry case of right and wrong. Some crimes are out of necessity. Will you bring the criminals to justice or absolve them of judgment? This forms the crux of the original novel and will play into the decision making of the game.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments will be available in September for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Tell us what you think of the trailer in the comments below.
