Shin Megami Tensei III HD Remaster

In case the wait for Shin Megami Tensei V is too agonizing, there will be another title in the series launching on October 29th for Japan and Spring 2021 worldwide. Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is receiving an HD remaster for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out the reveal trailer below.

As a full HD remake of the original, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne sees the main character turned into a demi-fiend after the Conception sweeps the world. With demons running amok, it’s up to the protagonist to effectively save the world, battling against the likes of Lucifer in the process.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne helped define the series somewhat with its use of contemporary Tokyo and a third person perspective. Along with a standard edition, the HD remaster will have a limited edition that includes the “Ayakashi Special Final Issue” magazine, an “Amala Tenrinko” aroma lamp, vortex case, and two-disc set consisting of the “New Piano Arrange” and “Rare Soundtrack”. For more information, tune in for a stream by Atlus on July 23rd at 3:30 AM PST with live gameplay.
