Shining Resonance Refrain Will Shine On All PS4, Xbox One, PC And Switch This Summer

A glorious return.

Sega might not be terribly well known these days for their RPG catalog, at least directly. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have some great titles in the genre under their belt. The Shining series might not mean very much to you since it’s been more than 10 years since the series last came across the pond, but the return of the series to the western market is exciting all the same.

Sega released a new trailer today to confirm that Shining Resonance Refrain, which is an HD remaster of a title from the PlayStation 3, Shining Resonance, will launch in the west this summer on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The remaster becoming available in the west for the first time frames it as an almost completely new game. The port will include better visuals and all DLC for the original game, plus additional content with a new “Refrain” mode, which is intended for an experienced player. You can see the trailer for yourself just below.
