Silicon Knights Are Back With X-Men: Destiny – New Details & Trailers

Posted By | On 11th, Jan. 2011

I honestly thought game developer Silicon Knights had faded away after the release of their oh so promising Too Human which I actually enjoyed quite much but after its release we saw lay offs instead of support for the game, as is was supposed to be the first in a trilogy.  Well now they are back with X-Men: Destiny being published by Activision some time this year for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The latest Official Xbox Magazine UK has new details about the game. An emphasis was put on making “tough decisions” as an X-Man taking place at a time when anti-mutant emotions are at a peek. The X-Men have suffered a big loss while the cities are in a state of chaos.

You will take the role of a “human zealot” who hates mutants and have a choice out of three different types to choose as while each one has its own plot weaved in with the X-Men. Surge, Quicksilver, Gambit and Magneto as well as other mutants from the comics will play roles in the game. You will also be able to modify the your powers by collecting the X-Genes of other mutants and the article once again stresses from there, you will have decisions often throughout the game.
