IGN had recently shared a video of a tough boss battle in Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption. The game’s visual style and insane difficulty are bound to draw comparisons to the Dark Souls games. However, this game has some of its own tricks up its sleeve.

The unique twist that this game brings to this genre is that every time a player fights each of the seven bosses in the game, the player character levels down. This is certainly an interesting concept and will surely make players think hard before picking their battles. Since players can fight any of the 7 bosses in any order, it would make sense for players to go up against those bosses they find difficult later on in the game. As you can see in the video, the bosses appear to be quite tough and they also hit quite hard, with some attacks even requiring  perfect timing in order to be parried.

Sinners: Sacrifice for Redemption is set to release on April 25, 2018.
