Activision has announced a firm release date for Skylanders Giants, coming to the UK on 19th October and 21st October to the US.
In what was originally a Spyro spin-off, Skylanders has seen unprecedented success in North America. Now the sequel, Skylanders Giants, is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, 3DS, PC and mobile.
Also announced is a new Skylanders character, a huge bee called Swarm. As the name suggests, Swarm was a prince in a hive of 9000, but due to Swarm’s abnormally large size for a bee, he struggled to even get out of the hive to do his weekly shop.
So he moved out to explore the world of the Skylanders, and gets himself caught up in the battle between the Giants and the Arkeyans.
