Skylanders: Trap Team

Activision will be heading to San Diego Comic Con, highlighting and showcasing, specifically, Skylanders: Trap Team on July 24; this will mark the game’s gameplay debut to the world, and will be the first time fans get to go hands on with the title. To generate some buzz and enthusiasm, Activision will be offering $5000 in prizes to fans who win the best costume contest. Yes, there is a best costume contest, that is inviting you to dress up as your favorite Skylanders character.

Apart from the costume contest and the gameplay demo, Activision will also be holding a Skylanders panel “Skylanders: The Creative Process of Bringing Toys to Life,” where members of the Skylanders team will offer insights into the development process of one of the world’s most loved and successful Toys-to-Life video game franchises.

Skylanders: Trap Force launches later this year for all home consoles, and Nintendo 3DS. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
