THE ARTFUL ESCAPE
What makes The Artful Escape as good as it is? Well, a great many things. It looks gorgeous, it has great music (which it ties into some cool albeit superficial gameplay stuff), it balances being cozy and psychedelic both at once, and best of all, is really well written and has a great coming of age story, told through some legitimately memorable characters, all while also allowing you as the player to have ownership of said story. It’s a game that deserves all the praise it has received, and all the attention it hasn’t.
