Sly Cooper: Theives In Time Will Feature Sly’s Ancestors

Whilst Sucker Punch are preoccupied with inFamous, Sly Cooper duties (or just Sly in Europe) have been passed onto Sanzura Games, the folks behind Ninja Reflex and The Sly Cooper Collection. Time travel will play a major role in the game (as you probably guessed from the title) and will offer a convenient way to meet and ultimately play Sly’s oft talked about ancestors. The first character to be revealed by Sony is Rioichi Cooper, a gent who snuck into castle’s during feudal Japan by a using a technique called the ‘ninja spire jump’. In game Rioichi will be able to scale large distances and can be played at any time (once Sly has met him).
