Sniper Elite 4 was already announced last week; however, today we got some more information on the next installment in the highly successful World War II shooter series. Sniper Elite 4 will launch in 2016, Rebellion confirmed today, and the distribution of the physical release will be handled by Sold Out, with whom Rebellion worked before with Zombie Army Trilogy.

“It is great to see that British software and development is not only alive and well, but through Rebellion’s efforts, actually flourishing,” said Gary Williams, CEO of Sold Out. “Sold Out is delighted to be the harbor master for Rebellion’s boxed console journey.”

“We’re extremely excited to be working alongside Sold Out again after the huge success of Zombie Army Trilogy, and this way we can produce the most successful Sniper Elite game to date, not only digitally, but also at retail,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Rebellion, Jason Kingsley.

Sniper Elite 4 is due out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
