Sonic Forces will additionally also have levels that will allow players to play as both, Sonic and their Avatar character. These “tag team” stages will be similar to what we’ve seen in Sonic Heroes, and will allow players to alternate between Sonic and their Avatar, while also letting them use combos using both their abilities.
