Sonic Mania may be the game that is getting all the hype, but it is not the only Sonic platformer that is due to release this year. Sonic Forces, the next 3D Sonic game from the folks who brought us Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations (the most praised Sonic games since the Dreamcast days), are also working on bringing us Sonic Forces, and it… looks interesting, the more we see of it.
Sonic Forces promises to mix three styles of 3D platforming, while also allowing fans around the world to do something they have been threatening to do for years anyway, by projecting their fan characters into the game with a custom character creator. How well (or not) this turns out is something that remains to be seen.
Sonic Forces is due out later this year on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC- make sure to check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.
