Sonic Frontiers

Since its proper unveiling at The Game Awards in December, we’ve heard very little about Sonic Frontiers from Sega. With the 3D open world platformer being touted as the next big step forward for the beloved franchise, there’s obviously more than enough excitement surrounding its launch, which is set for Holiday this year, but as we approach that window and an update on the game remains elusive, fans are beginning to get concerned about a possible delay.

That, however, it seemingly not going to happen. In a recent livestream (via Nintendo Life), Sega of America social media manager Katie Chrzanowski told fans not to worry, providing assurances that more news on the game will be coming “soon”, and that it is “still set to come out this holiday.” Of course, how soon “soon” will be wasn’t mentioned, but with Summer Game Fest not far away now, there’s a good chance that Sega chooses to show more of the game in the coming weeks. That’s what fans will be hoping, at least.

Whenever it launches, Sonic Frontiers will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
