Sega has released a brand new trailer for the eagerly anticipated, upcoming 2D Sonic platformer, Sonic ManiaSonic Mania plans to return to the glory days of 16-bit Sonic platforming, channeling the Genesis games that made the blue hedgehog such a phenomenon in the 1990s, and so beloved to begin with. So you can imagine why long time nostalgic Sonic fans, increasingly disenfranchised by the newer Sonic games, are excited for this one.

The new trailer that Sega released showcases Chemical Plant Act 2. The video itself shows Tails navigating through it, and it does look like this level is best suited to his abilities and powers.

Make sure to check out the video for yourself below. Sonic Mania is due out on August 15 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you going to be getting it? Let us know in the comments section, and stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game.
